Bespoke journeys

Travel design

Puglia planned around you, for couples, families, groups of friends, companies and leadership teams.

No packages. A conversation, then a plan.

Some people want three towns and a long lunch. Others want a fortnight with a car, a coastline and no fixed plans before eleven. Companies want a week that works as well on the last afternoon as on the first. We start from what you actually enjoy and build from there, using places we have been to ourselves.

Why work with us

What you get that a booking site cannot give you.

01

Personally planned

Nothing is pulled from a catalogue. Every journey is written for the people travelling.

02

Hand picked places

Masserie, small hotels and tables we have slept in, eaten at and would return to.

03

One contact throughout

The person who plans your journey is the person who answers while you are here.

04

On the ground in Puglia

When a boat is cancelled or the wind turns, a local call fixes it the same morning.

Sample journeys

A few shapes to start from.

The white towns, slowly

Valle d'Itria

The white towns, slowly

Ostuni, Cisternino, Locorotondo and Martina Franca at a pace that allows a market in the morning and nothing at all after lunch. Nights in a masseria among the olive trees.

5 to 7 days

Two coasts and a city

Salento

Two coasts and a city

The Adriatic side for the mornings, the Ionian for the swimming, Lecce for a couple of evenings of stone and good wine. A car, a few long drives and no rush.

7 to 10 days

Food, wine and the people behind it

Puglia by the table

Food, wine and the people behind it

Cheese made at dawn, orecchiette rolled by hand, a Primitivo tasting with the grower rather than the shop. Built for people who plan a day around dinner.

4 to 6 days

Beaches, farms and short drives

Puglia with children

Beaches, farms and short drives

Sandy coast north of Ostuni, a farm visit, a caves afternoon and an apartment or masseria with room to be loud. Distances kept short on purpose.

7 days

These are illustrations of how a journey can be built, not fixed departures. Dates, houses, tables and prices are confirmed for you before anything is booked.

For companies and leadership teams

Bespoke executive retreats in Puglia

A change of scenery often does more for a team than a longer agenda. I design retreats, offsites and small team journeys in Puglia for leadership groups who want something more personal than a standard corporate event. Accommodation, restaurants, transport, activities, meeting spaces and the details that matter are all arranged around your team, your goals and your pace.

Accommodation

Carefully chosen properties for your group, in and around Ostuni and Monopoli, with Matera available for something truly extraordinary.

Meeting spaces

Inspiring indoor rooms and generous outdoor spaces for strategy sessions and workshops.

Private dining

Long lunches, dinners by the sea, private chefs and pizza nights under the stars.

Food experiences

Authentic Puglian cooking, wine tastings, olive oil visits and local producers.

Team activities

Team-building, hiking and outdoor experiences chosen for your group.

Logistics

Transport, airport transfers and on-the-ground support throughout the stay.

Accommodation is selected upon request. Many preferred properties are in and around Ostuni and Monopoli, with Matera available for teams who want something truly extraordinary.

Work differently. Think differently.

Puglia creates space to slow down, reconnect and have better conversations. Imagine a morning leadership session overlooking olive groves, a long local lunch and an afternoon walking through the countryside or working together outdoors, with the day finishing around a table beneath the stars. There is room here for both focused work and experiences that stay with the team. No two retreats I create are the same. I work closely with every group to understand what you want to achieve, then build the experience around you, from a relaxed three-day leadership escape to a fully curated executive retreat.

You bring the team. I take care of Puglia.

How we work

A simple way through it.

  1. 01

    A conversation

A call or a video meeting about who is travelling, how long you have and roughly what you want to spend.

  2. 02

    A tailored outline

A first shape for the journey: areas, pace and a handful of ideas worth building around.

  3. 03

    Refinement

We adjust together. More coast, fewer drives, an extra night where it matters.

  4. 04

    Your travel plan

A final plan you can travel with and someone in Puglia to call while you are here.

This is how we propose to work. It flexes to suit you.

Added to your journey

The extras worth arranging before you arrive.

The best tables, the good cars and the pasta classes worth doing are booked long before the season starts. Add any of these when we plan your journey and we handle the reservations, the timings and the people at the other end.

01

Pasta cooking classes

Orecchiette rolled by hand in a home kitchen or a masseria, with lunch afterwards and a bottle from the same village.

02

Restaurant reservations

Tables at the places locals book weeks ahead, from a family trattoria in the old town to a kitchen by the water in Savelletri.

03

Electric bikes

E-bikes delivered to your door with routes through the olive country and down to the coast that suit your legs, not a brochure.

04

Car hire

A car that fits the group and the roads here, arranged through people we use ourselves, with the paperwork sorted in advance.

05

Private airport transfers

A private driver at Brindisi or Bari, waiting when you land and back again at the end. No queues, no hire desk on the first evening.

06

Beach club guidance

Which club suits the wind that week, where the sand is soft, where children are welcome and where a sunbed needs booking in June.

Anything else is worth asking about. Private chefs, boat days along the Adriatic, olive oil visits, wine tastings with the grower and photographers who know the light here.

Talk to us face to face

Book a WhatsApp video call

Twenty minutes on video tells us more than a long form ever will. We talk through dates, who is travelling and the kind of days you enjoy, and you get honest answers about what Puglia can and cannot do in the time you have. There is no charge and no obligation to book anything afterwards.

  • About twenty minutes, in English, Swedish or Italian
  • Weekdays between 09.00 and 19.00 Italian time, evenings on request
  • Send a message and we agree a time that suits you

Prefer a normal call or email? That works just as well. Write to us and we will follow your lead.

Milla has travelled and worked across Italy, Spain, Australia, Hawaii, Costa Rica and Thailand among others. That is not a list for its own sake. It is why the planning is unhurried, practical and quietly opinionated about what is worth your time.
